吉半小學的生源來自吉半村小組40多戶人家，現僅有一年級學生14名，1名公辦教師。原教室已垮塌，現借用村民家上課。吉半小學到董卓完小的距離為5公里，2年級以上同學需步行上學。若有新教室，一、二年級學生可就近上學。
The students at Jiban Elementary come from the 40 families of the Jiban Village
group. Currently there are only 14 1st grade students and 1 teacher. The original
classroom has already collapsed and they are currently using the house of a
villager to hold class. There are 5 kilometers between Jiban Elementary and
Dongzhuo Complete Elementary. Students in Grades 2 and above must walk to
school. If they had new classrooms, 1st and 2nd graders could attend class nearby.
